Accreditation

Exercise Medicine Australia offers accreditation courses in evidence-based Tai Chi, Qigong, Mulan and other exercise programs for continuing education and professional development for health and exercise professionals and the general public in Australia and internationally.

The courses have been accredited/approved or endorsed by Australian professional governing bodies including Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA), Fitness Australia, Australian & New Zealand Falls Prevention Society, Australian Physiotherapy Association (earlier), Exercise Medicine International and other relevant international bodies.

Completion of an evidence-based Tai Chi, Qigong, Mulan or other exercise program administered by Exercise Medicine Australia  enables course participants to gain 14-15 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points or Continuing Education Credits (CECs), and be accredited to teach/practice the program for prevention, management or rehabilitation of chronic conditions and fall in community or healthcare settings in their professional capacity, whether being a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, exercise physiologist, nurse, health worker, fitness trainer, exercise instructor, lifestyle leader, Tai Chi/Qigong instructor or volunteer working in the community. The general public are encouraged to learn any programs by Exercise Medicine Australia for improving health and wellbeing.
