 Accreditation

Exercise Medicine Australia offers evidence-based Tai Chi, Qigong, Mulan and other exercise  courses for continuing education and professional development for health and exercise practitioners and the general public in Australia and internationally. The courses are designed to prevent and manage chronic conditions and fall, and improve physical and mental health, fitness, functional abilities and the quality of life for all populations. The courses are/were accredited or supported by national and international professional governing bodies including Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), AUSactive, Australian & New Zealand Falls Prevention Society, Australian Physiotherapy Association and Exercise Medicine International.

Upon completion of a course, enrolees will receive 14-15 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points or Continuing Education Credits (CECs), and accreditation to teach/practice the program learned at the course in their professional capacity, whether being a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, exercise physiologist, nurse, aged care worker or any other health practitioner, fitness trainer, exercise instructor, lifestyle leader, Tai Chi/Qigong instructor or volunteer working in the community. The general public are encouraged to learn any programs by Exercise Medicine Australia for improving personal health and wellbeing.
