Based on the compelling evidence and guided by exercise prescription principles and safety guidelines, ©the Tai Chi for Health and Fall Prevention Program – Beginner Level is an safe and targeted Tai Chi intervention program for effectively improving health and preventing fall. It contains key Tai Chi techniques designed to increase the strength of lower limb muscles and knee and ankle extensors; expand motion range; improve mobility, dynamic balance and postural control; improve proprioception and overcome the fear of falling. This program is easy to learn and practice. It is highly recommended for health and exercise professionals and the general population to learn and practice as an ideal Tai Chi intervention strategy for improving health and preventing fall in healthcare and community settings.
